Our story
Born in Canada, I spent 14 years building a restaurant brand in Ghana, the country of my heritage. Through that experience, I learned that good ingredients matter and the best things are made with care.
I began making small batches of skincare in my kitchen for my children. Shea butter and baobab oil from Ghana became the foundation. Canadian winters gave me the problem to solve. Motherhood gave me the reason to make it simple.
“As a solo mom of three, simplicity was not a luxury. It was necessary.”
What began as something I made for my children became the balm friends and family kept reaching for too. Dry hands. Lips. Heels. Rough patches. One balm kept finding new ways to care.
That became the Sheazy Stick.
Inspired by my children and built through challenge, change and new beginnings.
Lazy Esi’s is a self-care brand rooted in my heritage. Esi is my Ghanaian name. In the Fante tradition, it is given to girls born on Sunday, a day associated with rest.
The word Lazy is intentional. It is an invitation to release the pressure to always be doing. I believe rest is not the opposite of productivity. It restores our power. Every woman deserves the freedom to be still, set down the demands of everything and everyone, and tend to her mental, physical and emotional well-being.
